Warm your soul with a rich, deeply flavorful bowl of authentic Sapporo-style Miso Ramen. This recipe combines a savory dashi-infused broth, aromatic miso paste, and perfectly chewy noodles, approved by native Japanese culinary experts.
Ingredients (2 Servings)
2 portions Fresh Ramen noodles
4 cups Chicken or Pork bone broth
3 tbsp Premium Japanese Miso paste (preferably a mix of red and white)
1 tbsp Sesame oil
2 cloves Garlic (minced)
1 tsp Ginger (grated)
Toppings: Chashu pork slices, soft-boiled ramen egg (Ajitama), sweet corn, green onions, and nori seaweed
Build the broth: Pour in the chicken or pork bone broth and bring to a gentle simmer. Turn off the heat temporarily, add the miso paste into a strainer, and dissolve it completely into the warm broth to preserve its delicate aroma. Keep warm on low heat.
Cook noodles: In a separate large pot of boiling water, cook the fresh ramen noodles according to the package instructions (usually 2-3 minutes). Drain thoroughly.
Assemble: Divide the hot miso broth evenly into two large ramen bowls. Add the cooked, drained noodles and gently fluff them with chopsticks.
Garnish: Artfully arrange the chashu pork, halved soft-boiled egg, sweet corn, finely sliced green onions, and a sheet of nori on top. Enjoy steaming hot!
